School life and upcoming school events: features produced by students for students
The content of the news shows produced by students are often chosen by the students themselves, so that they are involved in the whole production process from the start. Thus, they do research and anchoring, they operate the cameras and edit their clips themselves. They decide upon the issues they want to bring into focus. In this process they also learn how to handle the provided equipment with care and to respect common journalistic rules.
Films and news shows are mainly produced and anchored by media students from our elective media courses (3e to Ire). Students such as the students’ committee, the “Mini-Entreprise”, sports or music students also regularly produce film clips. Especially during our school’s project week, entire classes use our wide range of media equipment. For example, teachers and students can rent a camera or a pc for producing and editing their own clips – with or without the help of the media team experts.
All the news produced by LAML students are broadcast on our school screens in the entrance hall, as well as on the LAML News App and Website.
